Insurance and Billing
We are IN network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (not PPO), Delta Dental Premier Plus PPO and STATE specific plans from Delta Dental. We are an unrestricted, out of network provider for many other insurance carriers. We are happy to submit claims for patients who's plans are out of network. Contact our office to verify our participation in your plan, or inquire with your insurer to confirm your level of benefit. Norwell Family Dentistry does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMO).
Payment Options
We accept cash, check, credit cards or FHS/HSA cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan (see financing option below). Please note that there is a 2% fee added to all credit card transactions.
Please speak to our front desk team for details.
Financing Options
We work with Lending Club Patient Solutions to help cover costs that exceed insurance benefits, or for patients who do not have insurance. Lending Club provides interest-free 12-month loans. There is no prepayment penalty on any of the plans offered by Lending Club.
Card On File Policy
As of October 1st, 2024, we have moved to a paperless billing system. All patients with insurance will be required to keep a credit card on file in our electronic bank vault. This credit card will be used to settle any patient co-pays or balances after insurance claims are processed. Non-insured, self-pay patients are not required to keep a card on file when visits are paid in full at the time of service. Please be assured that personal credit card information is held safely in the electronic vault of a secure, encryped web site that we use to process all credit card transactions at NFD. No financial information is available to our staff, held in our system or kept in our office.
NFD in-House Dental Savings Plan
Our NFD in-house savings plan provides a savings option for patients who do not have insurance. Please call or ask at the front desk for details.
